On the other hand, the Mariners are just 21-45 away from home. Jason Vargas has pitched very poorly of late. I think the A's have the edge in all aspects of this game. Take the Oakland run line in this one.

*3 Star Labor Day Play of the Day* The Navy Midshipmen rank high on my list of teams that have the potential to make a lot of noise this year. They simply don't get the credit they deserve at this point, which usually means there is plenty of value on their side. Maryland is a team that has the talent to win about half of their games, but I don't know that they can stop Navy from running the option down their throat the entire game. Look for the Midshipmen to control the football and wear down this Terrapin defense. I expect Navy to see this game as a way to showcase that they are for real and they have the potential to be a BCS buster in 2010. I think Navy -6 is a great value play!
