| This may be the toughest opponent that Boise has faced in years. Virginia Tech has one of the best defenses in college football, and now they have a quarterback that can lead them on offense. Tyrod Taylor can make plays with his arm and his legs. He not even close to being the prototypical style quarterback that Boise St's Kellen Moore is, but he has the elusiveness to make something out of nothing. He will need to use that talent against a highly ranked Boise defense that has shown that they can hang with the "Big Boys". This will be a thriller, and is by far the most important game of the opening weekend. Boise may be in the best position they have even been in terms of having a shot at the BCS Championship, but that will all go away Monday as the Frank Beamer and the Hokies hand them an opening game loss. Navy's defense was fairly good statistically last season, but they didn't face the toughest of competition. This will be an offensive battle that ends well above the posted OVER of 48.5. Ricky Dobbs is in his senior year, and has a firm grasp on this offensive game plan. They will force the Terps to air-it-out as they play catch-up for most of the game.
